Understanding Middle Mile Shipment Statuses

Have more questions? Submit a request

When tracking your Middle Mile shipments, you’ll come across several status updates in the tracking report. Here’s a quick breakdown of what each one means and where your shipment stands in the process:

Awaiting Receipt

This means we’re waiting for your shipment to arrive at our warehouse. It has been scheduled but has not yet been physically received.

Received

Your shipment has arrived and has been scanned into our system using our vision tunnel and dim capture tools. It's now logged and being prepared for the next step.

Palletized

Items from your shipment have been organized and securely placed on pallets. These pallets are now queued and ready for outbound shipping.

Internal Transfer Truck

The shipment is on the move within our internal network. This typically means it's being zone-skipped — transferred between warehouses to optimize delivery to the correct Amazon FC region.

On a Truck

Your shipment is at the final warehouse and has been loaded onto a truck. It will depart once full truckload (FTL) capacity is met for the destination.

Departed

The shipment has officially left our facility and is in transit to the Amazon Fulfillment Center (FC).
