Getting Started with Middle Mile
Welcome to Pattern's Middle Mile program! We’re excited to help you get your products into Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers (FCs) quickly, easily, and at a lower cost. Ready to jump in? Follow the simple steps below to get started:
Step 1: Sign Up for Middle Mile
To get started, you’ll need to sign up for the Middle Mile program through our platform. It's quick and easy, and once you're in, you'll have access to all the features and tools to streamline your shipments.
Step 2: Connect Your Amazon Seller Central Account
Once you're signed up, connect your Amazon Seller Central account. This ensures that we can seamlessly integrate your shipments and sync them with your Amazon orders. Don’t worry; we’ve got this process down to a science, making it simple for you to manage and track your shipments with ease.
Step 3: Enter Your Information
Now it’s time to provide your details, including your payment information. But don't worry, you won’t be charged until your cartons are actually loaded onto the truck. This means no surprise charges—only when things are in motion.
Step 4: Select the Items You're Ready to Ship
Once your account is set up, select the items you're ready to send to Amazon’s fulfillment centers. You’ll want to ensure that your cartons are packed and labeled correctly, so we can efficiently route your goods to the right FCs.
What’s Next?
Once you've completed these steps, you're all set to start shipping. We have more details here, but in a quick overview ~ Here's how it works:
- Schedule Your Shipment: Using our GoRamp scheduling system, you’ll schedule a receiving appointment for your shipment. This will allow us to receive your goods at one of our Pattern 3PL cross-dock warehouses.
- Ship to Pattern: Ship your labeled cartons to the selected Pattern warehouse. We’ll take care of the rest, delivering them to their destined Amazon fulfillment centers.
- Pay by Volume: You’ll pay based on cubic volume, which is a much more cost-effective solution compared to splitting shipments across multiple fulfillment centers or paying Amazon’s inbound fees.
What to Keep in Mind
- Shipping Flexibility: Middle Mile offers great flexibility. You can send as many shipments as needed, and we’ll take care of the rest. Whether you're shipping pallets or smaller cartons, we can handle it.
- Labeling Requirements: Be sure to apply the correct FBA labels to your cartons to avoid any delays or returns. Labeling is key for smooth processing.
- No Hidden Fees: There are no hidden fees. You pay based on cubic volume, which means no surprises.
